I am the Executive Director of the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition and have nearly 20 years of experience in the Substance Use Disorder field. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical and Substance Use Counseling and am a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. My background includes work in residential and outpatient care, as well as serving as Executive Director of a statewide prevention coalition support agency in North Carolina.
I have completed training in nonprofit leadership and recovery supports, including the Duke Nonprofit Management Program, Recovery Coach Training, and Mental Health First Aid. I am a lifelong Wilson County resident and live here with my husband and two children.

I am the Community Engagement and Communications Coordinator for the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition, where I focus on outreach, social media, and community partnerships. With a passion for helping others, I also serve as Vice-Chair of the Youth Coalition and have completed several certifications in addiction and mental health. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, photography, and spending time with my family.

My name is Pamela Letchworth, Data Manager for Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition, and a retired National Board Certified math teacher with 29 years of experience. I support community impact by collecting and analyzing data for multiple grants focused on substance use prevention and behavioral health. I am also active in ministry and enjoy serving others both in my community and beyond.

My name is Cordain Dancy, Healthcare Navigator for the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition, with a passion for helping others. I previously spent 35 years at OIC of Wilson, providing testing and care coordination for HIV and other infections. In my current role, I support community outreach, connect individuals to substance use treatment and health insurance, and continue offering testing services across Wilson and surrounding counties.

My name is Lucy Cruz, and I serve as the phlebotomist for the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition, working primarily on the mobile unit. With over seven years of experience and a Recovery Coach certification, I am dedicated to supporting community health and recovery. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to better serve diverse populations, and I am passionate about helping others in both healthcare and youth development.
NC Certified Peer Support Specialist
I serve as the Recovery Concepts Community Center (RC3) Coordinator for the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition. I support RC3’s daily operations, coordinate programs and support groups, and connect individuals and families to prevention, treatment, and recovery resources throughout Wilson County. I am also a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist, using my lived experience to support others with compassion and understanding. My recovery journey began with Hope Alliance, and I give back through my ministry, Inspiring Words, where I share encouragement and hope throughout the United States.

My name is Jeff Hill, the Opioid Settlement Coordinator for the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition. I have worked in Wilson County’s non-profit sector for nearly 10 years and am both SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment) and Recovery Coach Certified. My work supports Wilson County’s efforts aligned with the “continuum of care” model, which includes prevention, treatment, recovery, and risk-reduction services that provide direct resources to our community.
