5k & 1 Mile Fun Run

Join us on September 12th, at 8am RC3’s for 9th annual Live Life In Color Run!!!

This colorfully vibrant event celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality within our community. The run begins at the Greater Wilson Rotary Park in Wilson, NC, and goes through the Cavalier Terrace neighborhood.

Come run, walk, crawl, or bike a 5k or 1 mile fun run to support the recovery support efforts taking place here in Wilson County! We welcome families, groups, and individual runners of all capacities. This event is open to pets and strollers as well.

Each participant that registers by August 16th are guaranteed to get a swag bag and t-shirt, after that it will be first come first serve.

Remembrance Banner

This year, we invite our community to help us create a remembrance banner honoring the lives and memories of loved ones lost to substance use.

If you would like to add your loved one(s) to the banner, please contact Anna Harris at aharris@wilcoprevention.org or (252)991-7267 and we will gather the following details from you. This can also be selected as an add on while registering for the Live Life In Color Run.

With the support of our community and our collaborative partners, RC3 has been fortunate to accomplish much over the past several years. We have been able to add more support groups, more classes, and more free trainings to help our community. We are thankful for all the support we receive every year.

With that said, we are excited for our 9th Annual Live Life in Color: 5k, and 1-mile Fun Run. Our event will be in person at the Greater Wilson Rotary Park. As in years past, this event will be held to support the sustainability and overall awareness of recovery efforts in Wilson County.

Would you consider supporting RC3 by sponsoring our event? By doing so, you will be supporting both Recovery Concepts Community Center (RC3) and The Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition. We are grateful that since September of 2017, we have continued to provide a safe and sober environment to those in recovery by offering programs that can offer support and resources to those focused on sustaining long-term sobriety.
