Red Ribbon Week Contest 2026

In celebration of this year’s Red Ribbon Week, “Your Future is Key, Be Drug-Free”, the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition will host a creative expression contest for students in Wilson, NC: coloring and writing (elementary schoolers), poster (middle schoolers), or poetry/song (high schoolers).

Students are asked to reflect on what it means to be drug-free and ways to make healthier choices to support their bright futures. Contestants will be judged by community partners based on their creativity and uniqueness. Winners from each grade level will receive a special prize and may have the opportunity to have their work displayed in the community.

All interested students in public school, charter school, private school, and/or homeschool are encouraged to participate! Please click the link below that corresponds to your grade level for instructions and submission details.
